How to Battle

Battle Rules:

When you battle the judge will ask you: Pilots, zoids. You will answer with your name and zoid(Example: Orphen - Desert Liger). There are a few areas you can aim at in battle. On a ground zoid:
The Chest, Front Legs, Hind Legs, Mid-Sides, and Tail.

On an airial zoid:
The Chest, Front Legs (If any), Hind legs (If any), Mid-sides, Wings, and Tail.

Each of those areas has a certain HP(Hit Point) percent. Most of them have 100%, but as for the chest and mid-sides, they have 150%. If you wipe out the legs HP, the zoid will be unable to move, as well as if you wipe out the wings HP, the zoid will be unable to fly. If you take out the mid-sides and tail, the weapons on that area will not be able to be used. The Mid-sides also control weaponry on the shoulders, back, and chest as well. If you take out the chest however, the battle is over.

The battle phase is like this:
Player 1 > Player 2 > Judge > Player 2 > Player 1 > Judge > Player 1 > Player 2 > Judge > etc.

So, in other words, the highest speed goes first, then the second person goes, then the judge makes his/her judgement.

A Little Battling Help

The person who goes first, will be the one whos' damage will be calculated first. Which means when you're the second person to go, you might want to have some sort of defense ready, like putting up a shield or countering the attack (Explained below). As you get stronger and more used to the battling system after a couple pratice rounds you should have a pretty good idea on how you're going to do attacks and how you would counter, even if your zoid will be built up on defense, power, or speed.

In battle, you are allowed to counter attacks. I will show you how its done through an example:

Silentwisp3r: -The Berserk Fury kicks on its Twin Ion Boosters and charges at the Konig wolf, jumping up into the air to slam down on the wolf with Heavy Duty Fragmentation Drill. Backing far away using the boosters, the zoid then fires off its 6 Pod Missile Launcher at the zoid-
IIIISoulflyIII: - activates energy shield to adsorb the attack as the wolf then fires off its turbo cannon at the 6 pod missiles and activates its 10x boosters to run in for a slash at the zoids face with its alloy claws -

Since the only people allowed to see the real weapon damage are the judges, I'll pretend for this example, that the 6 Pod Missile Launcher = 60% damage and the Turbo Cannon = 40% damage. The attack is countered because the pilot did say he countered, but damage from the 6 Pod Missile Launcher is carried over to IIIISoulflyIII. The Turbo Cannon matched 40% of the Missiles power, but some of the Missiles broke through since the cannon was only 40%, and 20% damage went to IIIISoulflyIII.
If the Turbo Cannon equaled 60% damage, just like the Missiles, the attack would be countered and no damage would go to the pilot.

On an important note, you are only allowed to counter 3 attacks per battle, so choose wisely which attacks you wish to counter.

In battle, you are allowed to dodge attacks if and ONLY if you have Speed Generators x200 more then your opponent. In which case, the judge will roll to see if the dodge is successful or not. This is a battling priveledge and you may only use the dodge function up to 3 times per battle. For every 200 more speed generators you have, you will get another dodge privledge, when you reach 5 dodges, that's it, even though you are allowed a maximum of SGx1000.

For your own saftey

You can only fire 5 weapons per turn, during battle. If you go over the 5 weapon limit, you'll be asked to repost you attack.
Activating boosters, shields, taking flight into the air,or charging weapons does NOT count.

Overheating is caused by firing to many weapons that rely on energy. You only overheat if you do NOT have a Cooler Unit (CU). Here are some examples of how you can overheat:
If a person fires more then 3 cannons, that's an overheat.
If the person fires 6 missles or more at once, that's an overheat.
If the person uses blades with energy and fires another weapon (Cannon or missile), that's an overheat.
If the person uses blades with energy and does NOT fire any more weapons, no overheat.

Overheating will cause your zoid to stall for 1 turn, and you will also take a little damage to all of the areas on your zoid. Leave that to the judges though!

In Battle: If you have to go the Judge will either DQ you, Give you a time to get back, or Start were the battle left off the next day. If you get a Time to get back it will be from 15-20 mins. After a Judge passes Judgment it will Stay at that. Disrepeacting a judge will be a fine of $10,000 and a 2 week ban from battling. After the Final Judgment is passed it will stay passed and will not be changed.

The style on how you battle is up to you but, that's just an example. You can use :: or * start and end an attack.

If you have any questions IM Hail (Jager287) or Orphen (Silentwisp3r).
