What are zoids!? Well, I guess you're serious...Zoids are mechanical life forms that live on planet Zi. They are combat machines, used in tournaments, battles between the Republic and Imperial Army, Duals, Missions, and even a quest to find something! Zoids, meaning Zoic Andriods (Andriods that take the form of animals), have their own personalitys and minds. One of the best ways to see just I mean when I say they have their own personalitys would be to watch the Zoids Genesis series. You can see the Murasame Ligers personality as it drags Ruuji through, giving him strength and a little extra push to win the fight! Even the Chaotic Century can show you zoid personalitys through "Wild Zoids" or in other words, Zoids without a pilot. Throughout the zoids series there are many different ways to obtain a zoid, but perhaps the most commonly used one is to find a wild zoid and try to pilot it. As the pilot and the zoid grow together, the zoids personality will differ depending on the treatment of the zoid. Naturally the main characters in each story have the strongest bond you'll ever see between zoid and pilot.
